Out for a swanky evening in the Big Apple, Taylor Momsen was spotted at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City on Monday night (June 29).
All decked out in a colorful pink ensemble, the “Gossip Girl” actress was on-hand for a big birthday party in honor of fashion heiress Allegra Versace.

And while Miss Momsen is gearing up for the filming of an all-new season of her hit CW show, she’s also been busy touring with her band, The Pretty Reckless.
Talking to MTV about the importance of music in her life, Taylor said, “In everything I do, I’m influenced by music. Music feeds my soul. As far as style, I’m influenced by eras that had music [I] liked. Music became a persona to me.”
Continuing on, the Jenny Humphrey actress tells, “I grew up listening to the Beatles on vinyl with my dad… So I grew up kind of listening to good records. I worked my way into Joan Jett and the Runaways records and Blondie and Garbage. Garbage became a huge influence on me.”

Joining in on what was a star-studded red carpet event, Taylor Momsen hammed it up at the Los Angeles premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” on Monday night (June 22).

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen has suggested that her music is so personal, it is similar to listening to her diaries.
The actress, who plays Jenny Humphrey in the CW show, and her rock band The Pretty Reckless recently landed a record deal with Interscope, while their first LP is expected later this year.
Speaking to MTV News, she said: "It's definitely not what people are going to expect. You're gonna get a little bit shell-shocked.
"I write it all. You're hearing my life, so you're hearing my diaries...I love rock and roll, man. It feeds my soul. It’s what fits me and it’s how I can express myself."
Momsen is not the only Gossip Girl star embarking on a music career - Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf) recently signed a major record deal, Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) fronts a rock band called The Filthy Youth and Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald) will star in musical Footloose.
"Everyone does their thing," she said. "I haven’t heard a ton of it, so I’ve heard only what you guys have heard online. It’s great."
